Dear Create Church Family,

We now have less than four weeks to go before our official launch on January 26 and the Lord has placed it on our hearts to focus on Him through a corporate prayer and fast for 21 days. We will begin this corporately on January 5th and end it together on January 25th with a celebration at our Dream Team party at 6:00 p.m. that evening.

Our hearts desire is that each of you would experience God in a greater way than ever before as you set aside some time before Him in prayer and reading His word. During these 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting you will find a weekly prayer guide with scriptures, prayers, and an area for you to journal some thoughts from the Lord. The Bible says in Matthew 18, that if two of us agree on anything that we “ask” for that it would be done for us by our Father in heaven. I believe that if we all join together corporately and in unison on a daily basis that we will find ourselves encountering God’s blessings for our lives, families, and church greater than ever before. God answers prayer and we are expecting Him to answer our prayers for our church and you personally. Please forward any personal or family prayer requests to any of the pastors or leaders that you would like for us to agree with you about and we will pray together to see them come to pass.

The information in the “Fasting” section is designed to answer some general questions you may have about prayer and fasting and provide some scriptures on fasting that will inspire you during this time. In addition, you will find links at the bottom of the page to some additional articles on fasting that I think would be a great benefit for use as a general reference guide.
